About the Designer

Christine Morel is the founder and creative force behind Morel Interiors, a design studio celebrated for its sophisticated, story-driven spaces. Since launching her firm in 2012, she has been designing with a thoughtful blend of culture, personality, and purpose—infusing every project with meaning and style.

Born in the Dominican Republic and now based in Florida, Christine draws from a rich tapestry of personal and professional experiences. Her global perspective and love for travel inspire her to create interiors that are curated, layered, and full of life. She’s passionate about using color, texture, and pattern to bring depth and vibrancy to every space she touches.

Christine began her career in residential interiors and home staging before expanding into event design for both private and corporate clients. Today, she focuses on new-build commercial spaces and revitalizing existing ones. Her projects span the East Coast—from New Jersey to Florida—including her current passion: a vibrant, Mexican-inspired restaurant in Jacksonville, FL.

With an eye for detail and a heart for collaboration, Christine is known for her ability to truly listen and design with intention. Her approachable, hands-on style makes the creative process feel like working with a trusted friend who just happens to have incredible taste.
